Healing Totodile

Edward rushed in the PokéCenter. The running time between Route 201 and Sandgem Town had weakened Totodile alot. Fortunatly, Nurse Joy was alrready at the counter.

Please, miss, my Totodile is very hurt! It got poisonned by a Nidoran - that is also a but hurt, by the way.

''Oh dear! I see, so you were capturing a pokémon! The needles on a Nidoran's body are some nasty things! Come, Totodile, I will treat your poisonning first.''

She took the wounded Totodile in her arms.

''Follow me, little mister, I will need you to put your Nidoran on one of these beds.

They walked to a room with two beds. Nurse Joy put the suffering Totodile on one of the beds, took a little bottle out of a white cupboard and approached the alligator pokémon. She made it drink the liquid.

''I didn't get your name, by the way...?''

Edward gently dropped Nidoran on the bed.

My name is Edward Castell. I'm looking forward to be a coordinator and a trainer! I can see by your name tag that you're Nurse Joy. Pleased to meet you!

Edward turned arround to face the Nidoran.

I think I'm going to name you exactly like you're called: Nidoran! Only my mom gives names to her pokémon...

He then turned back to nurse Joy.

Do you think they're going to be OK?

Nurse Joy smiled.

''They're going to be be just fine.''

She went back to the cupboard and, this time, took what seemed to be a potion, just like the one prof. Rowan gave to Edward. She then went to the Nidoran and applied some on its skin.

''You must be very cautious when applying potion on a Nidoran or any evolution of it... Its poison is very strong and may be fatal if not treated the same day!... Here you go, Nidoran, you're just like new!''

Nidoran was up on its feet and Totodile seemed to do very well also.

''Here you go, your pokémon are all healed!''

Thank you very much, Nurse Joy! I'll be off now, training my two pokémons! Come on, guys, back into your pokéballs.

Nidoran obayed happily, but Totodile frowned: he wanted to stay out.

Very well then, mister! You shall stay by my side! Goodbye, Nurse Joy, and thanks again!

And Edward, along with Totodile and his new friend, were off to Route 202, towards Jubilife City.
